“As a director, I write with the intention of also editing. There’s just so much richness in each of those drafts to pick just one.” — a very driven, naive younger me

For years, that quote made up the bulk of this web bio. And while I still believe in the power of wearing multiple creative hats, working as a full-time filmmaker for well over a decade has deepened my appreciation for collaboration. These days I work most often as an editor — building other people's stories with the same care I'd give my own. It's made me a stronger, more nuanced filmmaker.

Now I'm finding my way back to the director's chair — with more to say, and more ways to say it.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

All muh best,
